Patna: Cm Nith Kumar on Saturday said all city bodies have been asked to see problems related to the accumulation of rainwater in urban areas in the right way to avoid puddles.
Responding to the media query about the problem of waterlogging in urban areas in Mohiuddinagnagar (Samastipur), CM said there was a big problem of waterlogging in certain parts of the country’s capital in 2019.
“After that I called a senior official meeting and prepared rules for all urban areas.
Since That, the amount needed by any city body to drain rainwater is provided for the urban local body concerned, “Nitish said.
CM, which conducted a flood-affected area air survey in the Samastipur district and was examined by the flood assistance center in the district, said some Maroon people who lived in a different help center told him that the food arrangements were good.
“I usually ask people to tell me whether they have problems in the help centers.
But, they say the arrangement is good,” CM told reporters.
Previously on that day, CM, accompanied by the Minister of Education and Parliament of the State of Vijay Kumar Choudhary, visited various flood aid centers at the City Hall, Baluahi and JTA College in Mohiuddinnagar and on the High School campus that was enhanced in Sherpur Dhepura under Block Vidyapati Nagar in the District Samastipur.
He also examined the center of animal aid at the Industrial Training Institute campus in Mohiuddinnagar and asked about the facilities available for livestock.
During his visit to flood aid centers, CM also checked the kitchen and warehouse and asked about facilities for Covid-19 vaccination.
He asked local officials to ensure Covid-19 testing from everyone who lived in help centers.
