Mumbai: Leader of Maharashtra BJP Kirit Somaiya on Monday accused the NCP leader and the Minister of Rural Development of the State of Hasan Mushrif corruption and held the ‘Benami’ entity.
NCP, the main constituent of the government of Shiv Sena-LED Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), hit Somaiya and accused him of making allegations based on the leaders of the ruling coalition.
Overcoming a press conference here, Somaiya accused Mushrif and family members to create a corporate network and have a transaction with a shell company based in Kolkata.
The former parliamentary member from Mumbai claimed that financial transactions showed their bank accounts received income from the actual company none.
Somaiya said he had submitted a doubtful financial transaction and details of “non-transparent” income from the Mushrif family to the I-T department.
He demanded a multi-agency investigation, which involved the Department of Income Tax, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), into a financial transaction worth Rs 100 Crore carried out by Mushrif.
NCP spokesman and state minister Nawab Malik hit Somaiya and accused him of making allegations based on MVA leaders.
“The court has annihilated the NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal in the case of Maharashtra Sadan where Somaiya has leveled allegations against it.
No one considers somaiya now, “said Malik.
Last week, a special court in Mumbai Minister Maharashtra and the leader of NCP Chhagan Bhujbal and seven others in the case of 2015 related to alleged irregularities in the construction of Maharashtra Sadan (Government Guest House) in Delhi.
Malik said there was nothing wrong with political leaders and their family members did a legal business.
“In 2019, Hasan Mushrif was raided.
If there is an error (in this case), the action will be taken, “Malik said.
In July 2019, the IT department had conducted a search at the Mushrif residence, then MLA, and a sugar factory carried out by him in the District Kolhapur for alleged differences in factory account books.
