Some open schools for JR classes, others are waiting

Gurgaon: Some private schools in the city open their campus for grade 1 to 5 students while most choose to wait and watch in the absence of formal orders from the Ministry of Education and amid increasing Covid cases.
After the order of December 17 by the Air Quality Management Commission that allows the physical class for grade 6 to 12 students immediately, the Ministry of Education has issued formal notifications for schools.
Even though Caqm allowed school to open class 1 to 5 from December 27, there was no new notification from the government today.
This caused confusion, with many schools that said the education department might be careful after a surge in Covid cases in the city.
But the schools are only a few days from the winter vacation.
So, even if they are open, it will only be a few days before closing again for a winter vacation.
However, Monday, his presence was thin.
Some schools opened said they want students to meet and interact with their friends.
“Caqm’s order is very clear about the opening of the school and we have told the parents about it.
Yes, the presence was thin, but we opened because we wanted these children to meet their friends.
They have left school for so long.
However, We proceed with the online class and fully on parents to send their children to school, “said Rashmi Malik, Principal of Salwan Public School.
Some budget schools, however, have left parents without choice but to send their children to physical classes.
They said that students who did not go to school would be marked absent.
Part of these schools also began registering students over 15 years in Aarogya Setu application and have coordinated with hospitals to arrange vaccination camps on campuses.
“The solution does not turn off the school but vaccinate children and ensure the appropriate behavior of Covid followed in place.
We call all students.
For now, his presence is low.
But it will increase as we say to parents that there will be no online class than now .
We also did a vaccination drive for students in the first week of January, “said the headmaster of the private school sector budget 9.
Some schools prefer to continue with the online classes to students from grades 1 to 5, citing a lack of clarity from the Department of Education.
“We held discussions with parents and found that they were not too interested in sending their children to school today,” said Aparna Erry of Dav Public School.
