Greater Noida: After several plots are intended to set up information units related to technology failed to get the takers, The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (Gnida) has now approved a plan to build industrial and institutional units in the area.
Authority has identified about 40 residual plots and plans to come up with the rationing scheme for them immediately.
More can be added to the scheme because Gnida is preparing a list of remaining plots.
Land is in the industrial sector and Greater Noida institution where companies like Wipro and Nit have arranged the office.
About 100 plots have been provided for IT units and related services and products.
“Following the lack of responses received for IT plots, authorities, during their latest council meetings, decided to change the pattern of land use for the area.
Immediately, the remaining plot will be included in the industrial and institutional plot scheme,” said an official from Gnida.
This scheme is likely to be launched next month, the official was added.
If the plot is located in the industrial sector, land use is considered industrial.
If you are in the institutional sector, the pattern of land use will be institutional.
