Nagpur: Once a violator and never reform, or so the presence is thin at Lok Adalat held on Saturday.
Ranjit Deshpande (name changed) was called to Lok was to complete a fine that had not been paid to speed up at Bhandara Road.
Even though Deshpande appeared before the Traffic Court of the JM One Class One (JMFC) JM Agnihotri, he refused to pay a fine.
He argued that when there was no speed warning board, how could the police issue a police officer to speed up? Deshpande is not the only one who cries because it is issued as a Challan.
There are several other violators who feel too much that Challhan is issued for them “not true”.
Many traffic violators return without paying a good amount.

“I received a text message from the traffic police to appear before the motor vehicle court on December 11 to pay the delayed e-Challan to speed up,” he said and tried to find out about the pace warning signboard that did not exist.
“When there is no board, how can the traffic police release a Challan like that?” she says.
Many offenders expressed sadness after they were not permitted to oppose their e-challan before JMFC.

“Lok Adalat is being held to resolve the case, but we are not allowed to speak and vice versa being asked to pay a fine charged by the traffic police,” he said.
He was called to court for five cases of delayed traffic.

Lok Adalat is held from 11am to 17:00 to complete the payment of a delayed traffic penalty and notice.
Although the traffic police issued a notification for the appearance before Lok was against more than 2.17 lakh offenders who default traffic fines in the past six months, special collection counters were also opened in 10 traffic zones throughout the city.
As many as 2,496 Challans Traffic was discarded during Lok Adalat, the traffic police said.
The department also received RS11.9 Lakh both from violators.
Traffic police have also conducted nakabandi specifically throughout the city from November 25 to December 10 to restore fine.
During the drive, 25,571 offenders pay RS1.19 Crore in a fine.
