Some users continue to face difficulties in the I-T portal: infy

New Delhi: IT Major Infosys on Thursday admitted that some users continued to experience difficulties in accessing the income tax portal and convincing that it worked quickly, working with the income tax department, to streamline the experience of the end user.
Bengaluru-based companies, which have attracted flakes for disorders lasting months after the launch of the portal in June, said they had seen a stable increase in use over the past few weeks, and more than three crore taxpayers had entered the portal and made it in to the portal and successfully complete various transactions.

Infosys said it “acknowledged” ongoing challenges faced by several users and have been involved with more than 1,200 taxpayers directly to better understand their worries.
“The company focuses on quickly completing these challenges while working with the Accountant Community hired to ensure that a comprehensive set of scenarios are supported and thoroughly tested before the spread.” Infosys remains committed to making rapid progress and currently dedicates more than 750.

More than 85 percent of taxpayers who have submitted their returns have also completed their electronic verification, mostly through Aadhaar OTP authentication, he added.
“This portal facilitates more than 2.5 lakh return submissions every day and ITR 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7 is now available for archiving.
Most forms of law are also available online.
Some critical laws form – Forms like 15g, 15 hours, EQ1, 10A, 10E, 10IE, DTVSV, 15CA, 15CB, 35 and also TDS returns are being submitted in large quantities, “said Infosys.
More than 11.5 forms of lakh law and more than 8 lakh tds have been submitted, he added.
Infosys, which is the second largest IT service company in India, said taxpayer services such as e-proceding, response to notifications and demands, e-pan services, DSC registration, and functionality for legal heir, has also been activated.
“More than 16.6 lakh e-pancs have been allocated.
4.3 DSC lakh registration and more than 3.44 lakh e-proceding response to notifications has also been completed,” it shows.
