Some were killed in the flag protest against the Taliban in Afghanistan

KABUL: The flag protesters rose to several Afghan cities on Thursday and several people were killed when Taliban fighters opened fire on the crowd, said a witness, in the first popular opposition with militants since they seized the capital.

In Asadabad, the capital of Kunar Province, several people were killed during the general meeting but it was not clear whether the victim was produced from the shooting or from Stampede triggered, the Witness said Mohammed Salim.
“Hundreds of people come out on the streets,” said Salim.
