Patna: The West Champaran police registered FIR named Tourism Minister Bihar Narayan Prasad, Niraj Kumar aka Bablu and six supporters in connection with alleged shots to conquer a group of children who play cricket on Sunday.
Prasad is BJP MLA from nasutan.
SP Champaran SP Upendra Nath Verma told Ti on Monday that the Minister of Man Harendra Prasad and his nephew Vijay was also named in FIR filed by one Rina Devi, a mother of one of the injured children.
The incident occurred in Hardiya Koeri Teach Village under the Muffasil police station area.
SP said the reporter accused that the Bablu and his supporters reached the village garden and asked the children to play cricket there to empty the place.
When children refuse, they beat some of them.
He also accused the Bablu open fire in the air to scare children.
He said the police confiscated vehicles used by the Son of Ministers.
The bablu licensed rifle and pistol that he brought to the garden had also been confiscated for further investigation.
He said FIR was registered at the Muffasil police station under the 147, 148, 149, 323, 307 Section of the IPC and 27, the Arm Law.
