Bettiah: The son and brother of the Minister Bihar regulated in the West Chamberan District on Sunday, after they allegedly fired a shot at a group of villagers after a dispute.
Bablu Kumar, whose father Narayan Prasad was a BJP leader and the Minister of State to Tourism, was attacked in the village of Haradiya Koeri Tura in the Mofussil police station area.
The news channel beamed recording where the son of the Minister could be seen was destroyed by a group of villagers, who also grabbed the gun he was carrying.
According to the police supervisor Upendra Verma, Kumar was accompanied by Uncle Harendra Prasad, Vijay’s legitimate manager and other colleagues, all of which were on the clash.
They claim they went to the place after learning about “encroachment” in the garden, and were attacked there and robbed of the licensed gun, and that their vehicle was damaged.
However, the villagers accused that ministerial family members had taken the exception of several children to play cricket there, and the situation came out of hand when Kumar fired a shot in the air.
The minister’s son, who along with other wounded people was hospitalized, had confirmed that no shot was fired.
The spread of heavy police has been made in the area to maintain order and further investigation into progress, SP said.
