Chandigarh: Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday approved the 25 member campaign committee and the MANIFESTO Member 20 committee for the election of the Punjab.
Finance Minister Manpreet Badal has been appointed as the Manifesto panel chairman.
Member of Rajya Sabha Partap Singh Bajwa Previously named Chairman of the Panel.
The campaign committee chaired by former State President Sunil Jakhar will have a former leader of the Youth Congress of Amarpreet Lally as co-chairman and Ludhiana Lok Sabha MP Ravneet Singh Bittu as conventional.
MP Amar Singh has been used as a conventional Manifesto committee.

Those who added to the Manifesto panel were Minister of Deputy Minister of OP Soni, Rana Gurjeet, Jaiver Shergill, JS Dhaliwal, Surinder Dawar, Sushil Cambodian, Jasleen Setyhi, Ashok Choudhry, Anil Vij, KK Agarwal, Manju Bansal, Vijay Kalra, and Surjit Sway.
Head of PPCC Navjot Singh Sidhu, Charanjit Minister Singh Channi, President of the State Congress, all Secretary of the Indian Congress Committee from Punjab, and the head of the frontal organization from the State Congress will become a permanent invitation to both panels.
