New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi and former party head Rahul Gandhi called Supremo Party Bahujan Samawati (BSP) Mayawati on Sunday revealed their condolences for the death of her mother Ratrati, said the sources.
The Secretary General of Congress Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reached the former Residence of the Minister of Uttar Pradesh in the national capital at 3, Tyagraj Marg in the morning and offered condolences.
Vadra was accompanied by Hooda Deepender MP Sabha when he met Mayawati.
Ramrati died of a heart failure in the hospital in the national capital on Saturday where he underwent treatment, according to the release issued by BSP.
He is 92 years old.
Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi spoke with Mayawati and expressed condolences for the death of her mother.
Sonia Gandhi also wrote to Mayawati delivered her message about death, said source.
About a year ago, Pastor Mayawati Prabhudayal had died at the age of 95 years.
