Popular playback singer Sonu Nigam has been awarded with the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award of the country, because of the famous contribution to the field of art.
Reacting to the same thing, singer elated to share, “January 25th is the day a bit special for me and my family.
I am very grateful to the Indian government for thinking of me as a candidate worthy and blessed me Padma Shri.
Heartfelt thanks to everyone who voted for me and suggested my name to this prestigious honor.

He further expressed gratitude to his family and gurus.
Sonu said, “I also want to thank my mother, Shobha Nigam, and my father, Agam Kumar Nigam.
In fact, I would like to dedicate this award to my mother.
If she was here today, he would be crying.
I also will take this opportunity to fold my hands before my teacher who taught me so much.
Whatever I know today is because of them and thanks to them.
