With a dazzling star players featuring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif coupled with a storyline full of action, ‘Soororiavanshi’ has turned on the box-office this Diwali.
This film zoomed past Rs 50 crore mark in just two days, reported record the best collection on Sunday.
According to preliminary estimates on BoxOfficeIndia.com, movie collection can range between Rs 27 to Rs 28 crore nett.
If the actual figures match the estimated figure, then AKKI starrer can only record collection estimate of Rs 77 crore nett in its first weekend at the domestic box office.

It is reported that the film managed to maintain hold the ticket window through which a festive weekend.
After the debut of Rs 26.29 Crore strong, added another Rs 25 crore on Saturday.
Although the film had a small decrease in the collection on Saturday, is expected to bounce back and send Diwali weekend with Rs 70-80 crore on her Kitty.
This performance is similar to Rohit Shetty’s 2017 movie ‘Golmaal Again’.

Fellow analyst Komal Nahta agrees, “It’s very good for the film industry and commerce film in just two days the film has crossed the mark of 50 crore.

First, people are ready now come out of their houses to the cinema if the content is good .
Second, all that talk about people who are accustomed to the comfort of their homes without merit.

OTT can never replace the cinema, Nahta said confidently.
“With ‘soororavanshi’ carry numbers like that, I think the flow of the release will continue for six-eight months into the future,” he added.

The film is doing strong business at the box office even though occupancy is limited in various parts of the country.
Some states, including Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, continues to operate in a cinema hall began July-August onwards.
