Ranchi: Chairman of the Minister of Hemant Soren on Friday seeks immediate resignation from Agriculture Minister Union Narendra Singh Tomar and demands RS 5 Crore each for a farmer’s family who died during the protest throughout the year against the three controversial agriculture laws.
“We demanded that the PM immediately compensate for (family) farmers, who died during protests, with RS 5 Crore each and praised them as martyrs.
Their families must be given jobs and cases and fired against them must be withdrawn at once,” Soren tweeted.
In a series of tweets in the morning, Soren also demanded Rs of 10 lakh for each farmer who participated in the protest and direct resignation of Tomar.
He also mocked BJP and called the announcement of shares laughing.
“PM announced to attract black farm law this morning.
The whole announcement is a stock laugh.
Now, the entire BJP engine will jump to promote the idea that PM is a companion of the farmers,” he wrote.
Congress praised the announcement as a victory for the establishment of a party and farmers.
“PM must succumb before the will of the Congress Party and the farmers, and we are happy with that.
Victory shows that our country does not tolerate the dictatorship and that democracy is still alive,” said the Jharkhand Congress President Rajesh Thakur to Ti.
Congress workers also lit firecrackers and distributed candy at the party headquarters to celebrate the announcement.
Meanwhile, JMM puts a spicy attack on BJP and the trade union government for development.
“BJP doesn’t care about the country and is just worried about winning the election.
We are pretty sure that so elections (in Punjab up) are over, they will bring back the law,” JMM Central General Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya claims.
JMM also claims that the center has now turned his attention towards the country’s adivasis and moolvasis.
“By bringing forest supervisor authorities, they plan to dispose of tribes from the forest and submit most of the land to their company friends,” Bhattacharya added.
The left parties issued a march victory in Ranchi to celebrate the announcement and distribute sweets to passing people.
“This is a victory for the democracy and victory of farmers, students, workers and the intellectuals of the country,” said Secretary of the State CPI Singh.
CPM State Secretary Prakash Viplala said, “This will go down in Indian history as a significant movement.
More than 750 farmers died and the union government did not leave the missed stone to disturb the movement.
The farmers would resign from the Delhi border only after the law was pulled in Parliament as announced by Modi.
