Gurgaon: South City-1 residents have expressed concern for the dilapidated condition of the colony park due to poor maintenance.
The shrubs overgrown, encroachment, and withered greenery can be seen in most parks, they said.
According to residents, the corporation of the city of Gurgaon (MCG) initiated a rebuilding of several parks, including those in Block B and G, in October last year but the work was slow.
They accused that they had made several complaints to the authorities unsuccessful.
“These parks should have jogging paths, open gyms, canopies, sitting sitting, toilets, fertile green plants, limit walls, lights and gates.

Meanwhile, Subhash Yadav, the Nodal MCG officer for the environment and sustainability, said he would see this problem.
“After confirming the status, the right action will be taken against the contractor in question.
If they fail to complete the work, we will issue a notification and guarantee bank they will lose,” he said.
