JOHANNESBURG: A South African pulmonologist said on Thursday that he still saw a serious disease Covid-19 in people who were not vaccinated or had comorbidities during a wave infection driven by the Omicron variant.
“We still see very serious infections and acceptance in patients who are not vaccinated and also in patients who have comorbidities and this includes the elderly population,” said Pulmonology Anita Graham told a press conference organized by the African Office of the World Health Organization.
