Kolkata: The department meets on Monday warns that heavy rain is likely to destroy the southern districts of West Bengal, including Kolkata, in the next two days because of the formation of cyclone circulation in Bay Bay.
Weatherman said the circulation of cyclones lying on Myanmar Beach is likely to move towards West Bengal Beach, which leads to rain in many places in South Bengal on Monday and in most places on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Kolkata is among the places that might receive heavy rain.
The selection of by-election to the assembly seat of Bhabanipur in South Kolkata, where the head of the Minister of Mamata Banerjee fight, is scheduled to be held on Thursday.
The Meeting Department estimates the weight until the rain is very heavy in one or two places in 24 Pargana, Purba Medinipur and Paschim Medinipur Regency on Tuesday.
Heavy rain has been expected in Kolkata, Howrah, Hooghly, Jhargram, and North Pargana District on Tuesday.
Rain Print is likely to occur in all these districts, besides Bankura and Purulia, on Wednesday, Weatherman said.
The Met Department warns that rain down can cause rising river water surfaces, roundabouts in areas side by side in cities and cities and damage to plants standing.
