Margao: South Collectorate Goa has prepared to target children aged 18 years on January 1, 2022, to include their names in the selection roll so they can participate in the selection process.
After conducting the SVEEP program (the participation of education and selection of systematic voters) at the Taluka level, South Collectorate Goa now plans to reach students.
“Because most of the colleges are mostly closed, we are doing online programs for students.
Various competitions, such as writing essays, paintings, etc., are being held regularly for students,” said Collector of Goa South Ruchika Katyal.
The plan was also in the office, said Katyal, organizing the wall painting competition for students in all states by the head office of the election of state heads.
This, he said, will present a doubtful goal: the message display will result in interest among students about the election process, and the second, with public involvement in this event, awareness will be created in the community.
Katyal has appealed to eligible voters to register online or through the appropriate application form if their names have not been listed in the selection roll or if the correction needs to be done in the name.
He also urged young people who had completed 18 years to register as voters and participate in the selection process.
The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) office will begin a special revision of a month from the selection of the assembly constituency of November 1 with a month for submission of objections and suggestions.
The final publication of the scroll selection will take place on January 5, 2022.
