South Korea prepares the 1st space rocket test made

Seoul: Aheaded space rocket in South Korea failed to put a dummy load to orbit after his first launch on Thursday, said President Moon Jae-in.
The launch and third Korean stage Space Launch Vehicle II worked, as well as the separation of cargo, Moon said, but “placing a satellite dummy to orbit remains an unfinished mission”.
South Korea is preparing to launch the first space rocket produced domestically on Thursday in what officials described as an important step in pursuing a satellite launch program.
The three-stage Nuri rocket is scheduled to be launched around 4pm (700 GMT) with the aim of providing a 1.5 tons of 1.5 tons of stainless steel and aluminum – to orbit 600 to 800 kilometers (372 to 497 miles) on the earth.
The South Korean Ministry of Science said engineers had finished establishing 47 meter rocket (154 feet) on Wednesday night above the launch at the Naro Space Center, the only Spaceport, on a small island on the south coast.
South Korea tries to be the 10th country to send satellites into space with its own technology.
Officials said such abilities would be important for state space ambitions, which included plans to send more advanced communication satellites and obtain their own military intelligence satellites.
The country also hopes to send a probe to the moon in 2030.
Nuri is the first launch vehicle of the country built fully built with domestic technology.
Three-stage rockets are powered by five 75-ton class rocket machines placed in the first and second phase and are designed to place a 1.5-ton load to an orbit of 600 to 800 kilometers (372 to 497 miles) on the earth.
South Korea previously launched a space launch vehicle from Naro Spaceport in 2013, which is a two-stage rocket built mainly with Russian technology.
The launch came after years of delay and failure in a row – rocket, named Naro, reached the desired height during his first test in 2009 but failed to issue a satellite to orbit, and then exploded immediately after taking off in 2010.
It was not clear How about North Korea, which was accused of using space launch efforts in recent years as disguise to develop long-distance missile technology, will react to launch Thursday.
While encouraging to expand nuclear and missile programs, North has shown sensitivity to increased South Korean defense expenditures and efforts to build stronger conventional armed missiles.
In a speech to the Pyongyang rubber stamp parliament last month, North Korean leader Kim Jong UN accused the Korea of the US and South Korea “destroying stability and balance” in the region with their allied military activities and “excessive buildup” led by US.
in the south.
South Korea plans to develop a launch of solid combustion chamber launch in 2024, which might be prepared to be launched faster and also more cost effective.
