Sydney: The new Covid-19 case in the most populous situation in Australia jumped past 3,000 on Tuesday for the first time, adding pressure on Prime Minister Scott Morrison to accelerate the launch of Booster Shots.
New South Wales State reported a record of 3,057 new Coronavirus cases and two deaths for the past 24 hours.
There were 284 people in the hospital, up from 261 the day before, and 39 in the intensive care unit, up from 33.

“The time for heavy hands is behind us,” Morrison said.
