New Delhi: Southwest Monsun Daya covered the entire country on Tuesday after a five-day delay, said the Meteorology Department of India (IMD).
Southwest Monsun usually covers all countries on July 8.
The monsoon covered its last post – Jaisalmer and Ganganagar Desert City in Rajasthan – on Monday but Evaded Delhi.
On Tuesday, some parts of the NCR received rainfall after the IMD declared the arrival of Monsoon in Delhi.
“In conjunction with the prevalence of further East Wind from Bengal Bay at a lower level since the last four days, increasing cloud cover and spread to extensive rainfall, Southwest Monsun is increasingly advanced to the remaining part of the country including Delhi, the remaining part of Uttar Pradesh , Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan, “said IMD.” Southwest Monsun has covered all countries on July 13, against normal July 8, “said IMD.
