SP announces candidates for seat 6 Lucknow DST

Lucknow: The Sawajwadi Party on Tuesday released the names of candidates for 10 more seats, including Bangarma in Unnao and Lucknow Cantonment, ending speculation on the side with Congress on the one hand and saving open options to accommodate BJP senior leaders on the other.
This list includes candidates for six of nine assembly chairs in the Lucknow district.
The party has named Raju Gandhi as a candidate from Lucknow Cantonment Ending speculation that sitting MP BJP Putra Rita Bahuguna Joshi Mayank Joshi can compete from the chair on a ticket.
Speculation of Rita Bahuguna Joshi jumped the ship started as soon as he openly said he was willing to release his MP seat to get his son’s contest from Lucknow Cantonment.
There was a report that Joshi was so insisted on securing a ticket for his son that he might even join SP if the party assured him tickets for mayak.
Likewise, Munna Alvi has been declared SP candidate from the seat of the Consultative Assembly in Unnao, ending speculation that the party may not be the field of candidates there to help Congress candidates.
Congress has reduced the mother of rape from Bangarmau – the selection in which Kuldeep Singh Sengar is MLA sitting when he was arrested and imprisoned due to rape.
This party has lowered Puja Shukla from Lucknow North and Arman Khan from Lucknow West.
Puja Shukla was the leader of the student who was arrested for waving a black flag at the head of the Yogi Aditentialath Minister in Lucknow as part of student protests.
He was sent to prison.
He was once again arrested during the anti-CAA protest and spent several months in prison before he walked out with a guarantee.
Arman Khan on the other hand has compiled for the election of the 2017 assembly on BSP tickets but is lost.
He then joined SP in the same year and has been regularly involved in social work in the region.
This time the party has placed the stake to him replacing former MLA Rehan Naim.
The other in the list included SP spokesman for Anurag Bhadauria from Lucknow East, former Mla Gomti Yadav, who has won on Sp and BJP tickets in the past, from Bakshi Ka Talab.
Former SP Mla Ravidas Mehrotra was once again derived from Lucknow Central.
While Shyam Sundar Bharti has been derived from the Bachhrawan Rae Bareli seat, Tahir Khan and Vishambar Yadav each affixed from Issuli and Baberu.
