Lucknow: Reaching Retired Government Employees and Teachers in a Great Way, Head of the Jamajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday promised to recover a retirement scheme for all retired employees and teachers stopped in 2005 by the BJP government at the center.
Announcement is expected to benefit 12 lakh retired government employees.
Former CM says retirement to civil servants is important because it not only provides financial support that adds a social security of an individual retirees but also a way to thank the individuals for their services to the government.
Akhilesh said the government also tried to deal with the problem of outsourcing hands in the government sector and described the concept as a tool used to make reservations.
Akhilesh said that in addition to recovering a retirement scheme, Yash Bharti Awards will also be re-introduced by the Government of the Jamajwadi Party which is ready to be formed after the assembly selection.
Starting in 1994 Yash Bharati Award was introduced as the highest civilian award institutionalized by the government to recognize personality contributions in the field of literature, social work, film, and likes.
This award carries an extension letter, Wallet RS 11 Lacs and retirement RS.
50,000 per month on request.
Akhilesh said Nagar Yash Bharti Award will also be given at the district level.
