SP Mla Irfan Solanki demanded a separate room for Namaz at the Uttar Pradesh Assembly

Kanpur: The Samajwadi Party Mla Irfan Solanki on Tuesday demanded a separate room for Namaz at the Uttar Pradesh Assembly.
SP MLA said, “I have written to Hridya Narayan Dixit speakers to distribute prayer rooms for Muslim legislatives.
Worship is also needed and assembly sessions are also needed.
As it happens in Bihar (a separate space is provided for prayer), and we also know about requests Same in Maharashtra.
“Solanki said that during most Vidhan Sabha’s process, they had to leave the session in the middle to offer prayers in the mosques outside and waste time.
“During the same time, public demand can be discussed during the assembly session, so there must be a separate prayer room where prayer can be offered,” Solanki said.
He added that no one would have troubled by making the room worship in the assembly.
Solanki said that it should have been done again.
He said that he was convinced that his demands would be taken care of.
The statement occurs when the country will hold assembly elections next year.
Previously at Jharkhand, a separate room was allocated to Namaz.
However, the BJP opposition has opposed the speaker’s decision.
Orders have been issued by the Jharkhand legislative speaker to distribute rooms for Namaz.
“The Tw 348 room number was allocated as a prayer room to offer prayers in the new assembly building,” said the command.
