MADRID: Spain has concluded that the evacuation of personnel from Afghanistan and the last Evakary is expected to land in Torrejon’s military airbase near Madrid on Friday, the government said.
Two military aircraft carrying 81 of the last Spaniards from Kabul arrived in Dubai early on Friday morning, the government said in a statement.
The plane also brought four Portuguese soldiers and 83 Afghans who had worked with NATO countries.
“Both of these flights conclude the evacuation of Spanish personnel and allies of Afghanistan and their families,” read the statement.
During the Spanish rescue mission evacuated 1,898 Afghanistan who had worked with Western countries or the European Union.
