MADRID: The Spanish police said on Tuesday they had arrested three people on the murder of Samuel Luiz, who were beaten to death in the northern city of Coruna on Saturday in an anti-gay crime that was alleged that triggered mass protests throughout the country.

Further arrests are not ruled out in the coming hours,” National Police Service Tweeted.
The 24-year-old nursing assistant was killed in early Saturday outside the nightclub.
A witness interviewed on Television La Sexta said one of the attackers shouted with homophobics during the attack.

The riot police in Madrid Baton collected several demonstrators, encouraged the government to open an investigation into their behavior.
Maria Jesus Montero’s spokesman said it was important to highlight the rejection of the Spanish community to crime but the police were justified in their response to restore order.
