Patna: A 18-year-old son of Muzaffarpur City, SP Rajesh Kumar died when his friend was seriously injured in an accident at NH-22 in the Vaishali district around 3am on Thursday.
The deceased, Rajveer Shekhar, is preparing for technical entrance examinations in the city in Rajasthan.
Muzaffarpur DSP (City) Ram Naresh Paswan said the accident took place near the Daulatpur-Deoria Village under the Hajipur real police station when he was on his way to Muzaffarpur from Patna City’s residence when he lost control of the car after the vehicle suddenly appeared on the road .
The car plunged into the roadside field filled with water.
Rajveer died in place.
What was injured, Angad Kumar, told the police that Rajveer drove a car.
Locals took him to a conscious hospital in Hajipur for care.
Hajipur aware Sdpo Raghav Dayal said most police personnel were deployed to Chhath Ghats when the accident was reported to the police station aware by several local residents.
When they were removed from the car, Rajveer died, he told reporters in Hajipur.
Then, Rajesh visited the place and asked about the accident.
The source close to the family said Rajesh was the only son of Rajesh.
The police confiscated a car and, then, recorded a wounded statement.
Meanwhile, one Sita Devi (60) died of a heart stop in Bagaha Chhath Ghat in the West Champaran district.
He has offered ‘Arghya’ to the sunrise in Ghat.
