Guwahati: Although there is a large demand from the part of the students and guardians to conduct council tests in a state even though the pandemic, less than 1% of the registered candidate has chosen for the XII class exam specifically to be held on September 15.
.
The higher Assam secondary education council (AHSEC) provides an alternative special exam for students who are not satisfied with the evaluation of statistical formulas this year.
AHSEC Secretary Pector Patgiri told TOI from around 2.49 Lakh candidates who were registered for the XII class XII Council exam which was canceled, around 1,800 students have submitted a special exam.
“The last date to submit the exam is August 16.
Only a number of students who can be ignored have submitted a test.
This shows a very low level of disappointment among the exam participants,” said Patgiri.

All registered class XII Council exam participants were given a 12-day window period to submit a special offline exam.
“Mostly, those who failed in the exam were applied for special tests,” added Patgiri.
Although the number of applicants for class XII tests is relatively small, for class X special exams, around 22,000 candidates have been implemented.
Assam (SEMA) Chairperson of the RC Jain said that there was no dissatisfaction among students who passed the High School Examination of HSLC and Assam High Madrassa (AHM).
“Only students who fail in the Class X State Council exam, have been implemented,” Jain said.
The source in the Ministry of Education said that AHSEC and Seba will need special approval from the State Health Department to carry out offline examinations.
Getting a nod of the health department cannot become a stumbling block because the government is ready to allow the reopening of schools and colleges from September.
“Class X and XII specifically tends to be done simultaneously,” the official said.
In the HSLC and AHM exams, a record of a 30% increase in the percentage of pass was recorded this year.
While the overall percentage of this year has 93.10 at HSLC, for AHM examination 93.18%.
In the results of the class XII class, the percentage pass rose as high as 99% in three streams.
In early July, the Government Assam had canceled the special council test proposed after the discussion was held under the leadership of the Head of Minister of Himanta Buswa Sarma.
Representatives from various student organizations are also present.
Then two educational boards and education ministers Roman Pegu again announced that special examinations will be held to satisfy students who are harmed.
