New Delhi: A group of cheat posing as CBI officers and jewelry outlets / raided manufacturing units in Karol Bagh and similar places in other cities have been arrested and five members are arrested.
Gang has made four back-to-back crimes in Karol Bagh in recent months, creating panic among business people.
The defendant was identified as Mohammed Ali (52), Mohammed Kabli (45), Anwar Ali (45), Shoukat Ali Jafri (55) and Mukhiyar Hussain (35) who lived in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
They used to travel from one city to another and commit a crime.
“The defendant was previously declared proclaimed by offenders by the court after committing a crime in Malviya Nagar, the Hindu Rao coal and the Vasant area,” said DCP (center) Jasheet Singh.
