Ranchi: Special Offline Examination of two days Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) for class X students, who fail or want an increase in their class X signs, concluded on Wednesday.
A Jac official said, “Special examinations are carried out in the same pattern as class IX and XI exams to maintain parity.” Earlier this year, JAC has stated the general results of class X and XII based on class IX and class XI since the offline test cannot be held due to a pandemic.
The official JAC said according to Covid guidelines, the duration of each subject was reduced and several subjects were confirmed in one session.
About 9,000 students have submitted an examination.
However, a number of significant students did not appear at the examination center at Zila School Ranchi.
The Principal of Deepa Choudhary said that of the 50 students allocated to the center, 11 absences.
Choudhary said, “With a low number of students, covid security norms such as thermal scanning, maintaining social distance, can be followed easily.” Jac said that reports about the exact number of absences would take several days to arrive from the center.
Special inspection of the Board for intermediaries students will be held from September 9 to September 12.
