Gurgaon: Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) Commissioner Mukesh Kumar Ahuja Wednesday directed at the City and State Department (DTCP) to form a special team and prepare the cost estimate to complete the work of infrastructure deficiencies of 11 personal colonies.
This step is intended to accelerate the takeover of this colony, which the Minister Haryana has announced in 2017.
MCG officials said while this eight colonies – Mayfield Garden, Malibu Towne, Sushant Lok-2 and 3, Greenwood City, Rosewood City, Vipul World and UPPAL Housing – has given their approval for takeover by the company, they have not received approval from Ardee City and DLF-4 and 5.
“Executive engineers will visit this colony and conduct surveys to identify infrastructure deficiencies.
They will then make colonies-wise supplies and give them to the Director of DTCP.
The MCG will then request a department for the transfer fund taken from the developer of this colony for the corporation to complete the work before taking over the area, “said Head of MCG City Planner Madhusmita Moitra Singh Toi.
MCG Head Ahuja gave the direction for a special team at a meeting on Wednesday.
“We asked for approval from the colony developers.
We have received approval from all developers except Ardee City, DLF-4 and 5.
We will be able to go further after we get a report on the lack of work, “senior official gift at the meeting.
This review will be conducted on September 23 Civil Body supposed to handle utilities for licensed personal colonies, including water, drainage, road and street lighting, after taking over the colony, according to the plan.
This process includes identifying infrastructure deficiencies and preparing estimates to complete the delayed work.
In the case of developers failed to complete the delayed job in the specified time, the MCG took it out on the cost of the developer.
It has been four years since CM made an announcement for takeover of 11 private colonies.
In December 2019 The Haryana government was directed by MCG to speed up the process.
The corporation has then searched for information from DTCP on the plan to build, stormwater channel layout, water and row, park, number of plots, years of construction and the status of community centers in this colony.
