Gurgaon: The Ministry of Health prepares to establish a Covid-19 vaccination camp specifically throughout the city on September 4 and 5 to analyzen all teaching and non-teaching staff.
In accordance with the data of the Ministry of Health, there are a total of 17,953 school staff throughout Gurgaon, including 17,436 has received at least one dose of Covid vaccine, while 517 has not received it.
The department will establish five camps to vaccinate staff on Saturday.
This step occurred after the NHM director issued direction to all districts to vaccinate 100% of all teaching and non-teaching staff in Haryana.
“We have notified the education department about the same thing.
Our medical officers have been asked to collect data from educational institutions located in their respective regions and then camps will be arranged according to the data,” said Dr.
Virender Yadav, Chief Medical Officer , Gurgaon.
The previous health department has asked all schools and universities to provide details about the vaccination status of all staff members.
In continuation by efforts to contain the spread of Covid-19, the government has emphasized the vaccination of priority groups, including teaching and non-teaching staff, in schools and universities.
The Ministry of Health has also decided to establish 47 government session sites in the city on Saturday.
Of these, the covishield dose will be given at 41 sites and Covaxin in five.
Sputnik v will be given to the recipient on one site.
19,439 people in the 18-44 age group were vaccinated on Friday.
In the 45-plus category, 3,263 people take photos.
Overall, 22,911 Jab was managed.
3 new cases in the city city, on Friday, recording three new Covid-19 cases, taking Kaseeload to 1,81,078, where 72 is an active case.
