Special vaccination drive: 18 lakh inoculated in Bihar

Patna: As part of ‘Maha Tika Abhiyaan 5.0’, more than 18.66 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine was managed in the state until 9pm on Thursday.
Nearly 64% of total beneficiaries are those who receive their second shot.
However, the number is slightly less than the number of beneficiaries coming to vaccination in the previous mega drive.
The Ministry of Health of the Special Secretary of Sanjay Kumar Singh, who also holds allegations of the executive director of the state health community, said more special campaigns will be held in the state.
The maximum vaccination is carried out in Patna on Thursday, where 1.01,949 doses are inoculated until 7.30 a night.
So far, more than 6.71 doses of Crore of Covid-19 vaccines have been given at Bihar.
Meanwhile, Health Minister Mangal Pandey said the center had instructed the state to autoculate 100% of beneficiaries who qualified with at least the first dose.
