Special vaccine drives are likely to be expanded in the old city

Hyderabad: Health officials tend to extend the Covid-19 door-to door vaccination program for several more days due to slow progress in the old city.
The GHMC and the Ministry of Health have taken 15 day vaccination efforts to ensure the city is fully vaccinated.
Official sources said many people in the old city were afraid that vaccines would cause negative effects and question their efficacy.
“Even though there is an attempt to explain the benefits of vaccines, some families do not want to accept it.
We cannot force him,” the source said.
When the door-to-door drive starts, more than 70% of people who meet the requirements have been inoculated in the city.
However, officials faced difficulties convincing 30% of the rest.
“Most people in the old city are hesitant to provide data and generally refuse to provide specifics about the vaccine they receive.
In some areas, they even lock their homes and become incommunicado,” a government employee, which is part of the drive vaccine, said.
Officials have recorded family details that refused to take vaccines as “not want”.
Leaving such houses, they have declared the area as fully vaccinated.
About 37 Lakh people have received Covid-19 vaccines in the city so far.
But some government vaccine centers in the old city have not been able to manage more than 3,000 jabs since the first phase of the drive vaccine began in March.
Another problem found is a mobile truck time mandated 30 minutes must spend after managing Jab.
“30 minutes expenses in each challenging area,” said the source.
