Ahmedabad: The Gujarat High Court on Friday recommended the government authorities to “accelerate” Covid-19 vaccination even among children under 18 years.
At present, drive vaccination only includes people over the age of 18.
The High Court made 14 strong strong recommendations to avoid the possibility of the third wave of Covid-19.
For this, he asked the authorities to get enough vaccine stock and increase vaccination coverage.
It also insists on door-to-door services for vaccination of people who are less able, disabled, and aged.
The High Court further said that he captured that the third wave of Covid-19 which might most affect children.
Therefore pediatric care must be pursued with enthusiasm and “drive vaccination must be accelerated for children under 18 years”.
The High Court recognizes that short-term steps by the Center and State Authority “Coupled with the Definite Vaccination Program leveled the Covid-19 curve”.
Judicial Justice Bench Trived and Justice Bhargav Karia argues that the decline in the number of Covid cases and in the death rate has inspired hopes that Covid seems to have run its way in the state.
The High Court further observes, “We all need to gradually limp back to our normal routine.
The lessons learned in a difficult way of the second wave must be practiced at the individual level and at the state level to fight the third wave, if witnessed.” The High Court appreciates.
The state readiness plan for the state to deal with the third wave of Covid-19 but refused to learn further in the subject because it was a policy problem.
