Pune: The Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Mahametro) said that recently finished installing a dock hat arm for seven metro stations in the civil court – Ramwadi.
This section is part of a fully high Vanz-Ramwadi corridor.
Officials said they would accelerate work on the rest of the civil work at these stations – RTO, Pune Station, Ruby Hall, Taman Bund, Yerawada, Kalyaninagar and Ramwadi.
A total of 140 dock arms have been installed for these stations.
Mahametro officials further said that traffic congestion along this section will subside now that the arm dock has been installed.
“Station work is divided into two parts.
The initial stage includes the construction of docks, weapons docks and launch of the dock arm hat.
This work requires space so that traffic blockages or routing traffic is proposed to help work.
But now these works are almost over,” said An official.
Hemant Sonawane, General Manager (Public Relations) in Mahametro, said that “the closure of the road was carried out at the curfew according to the requirements, especially to dismantle heavy materials or launch segments.
