New Delhi: Spicejet plans to introduce the SpiceXpress drone delivery service to provide medical and essential supplies in remote areas.
Airlines, who have received official approval from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to conduct drone trials in May 2020, want to expand its logistics platform by building a smooth supply chain.
The airline budget plans to introduce drones that are adjusted to different charges including 0-5 kg, 5-10 kg and 10-25 kg and initially want to target MID MIL drone delivery when preparing for the last mile delivery in the future.
ARM Freighter, SpiceXpress, will focus on sending vaccines, soul-saving drugs and important items, among others to remote areas.
The airline has partnered with the throttle aerospace for more than 50 upper class drones that are adjusted when aeological will provide drone software management.
“The initial airline outreach plan for the Drone business includes 10 districts with more than 150 locations with the aim of reaching more than 25,000 shipments per month.
