Bardhaman: Express train compartment specifically slipped at Bardhaman Station in West Bengal on Monday, officials said.
No one was injured in the incident that took place in the Purba district of Bardhaman at around 10:45 a.m.
when the Special Express HOWRA-RADHikapur approached the number 4 platform, they said.
Service is interrupted for one hour, officials said.
The first compartment of the train, which is right behind the engine, slips when entering the platform, said Station Manager Swapan Adhikari.
It was released from the rest of the train, which then began again for his purpose, he said.
