Hyderabad: Some birds that permanently disabled due to sharp injuries caused by spoiled China are being sent to private shelters throughout the city, thanks to the initiative of animal and bird lovers.
Birds, especially pigeons, entangled in spoiled China tend to have their wings and legs chopped some in which eventually will require amputation.

The majority of them have published wing bones and cutting wings and legs, Pradeep explained.
Animal activists say Hyderabad does not have technology to treat birds with fractures and bone dislocations.

Activists who saved common birds such as pigeons and crows sent them to people for animal shelter (PFA) in Nagole.
Also, some of them were sent to the general animal shelter in Begum Bazar, Medchal and Yakutpura.

Pradeep said that they planned to establish a shelter for CSR funds was sought in this matter.
“We are looking for a land or home to set up a bird shelter,” Pradeep added.
