New Delhi: The new school hub is being built by the Delhi government near Kadipur in Northwest Delhi to serve two specializations – science, technology, engineering and mathematics (Batang) and Humanities.
Built more than 11.6 hectares, the school will have 240 classrooms and 13 complete laboratories (eight for stems and five for the Humanities).
The hub will also have an Olympic sized swimming pool with heating and cooling facilities.
The swimming pool will have a length and width of 50mx25m to allow many children to practice together.
There will be four libraries for the primary and senior middle class.

“The Kejriawal government takes another step towards making a world-class Delhi education system by building a school that will be equipped with all modern facilities.
To provide holistic education to students, schools will advance sports together with learning,” he said.
“This school will be different from the usual because the whole place will be used in the learning process of children.
The intelligent class will be suitable for digital learning and has all facilities to meet children’s needs,” added Sisodia.
With sports into an integral part of the hub, there will be four multipurpose courts and 12 badminton fields.
Common gymnastics areas will also be prepared.
To hold an event, an auditorium with a seating capacity of 1,000 people will be made.
Multipurpose hall with a capacity of 250 people will also be built.
“After school is over, children will bring Laurels to India from all corners.
Our responsibility for providing facilities in schools is not marked by extraordinary buildings, but by the hard work of students and teachers,” said Sisodia.
Other schools are being built in Mehram Nagar with similar sports facilities and 52 classrooms.
This year, the Delhi government established 20 special excellence schools to provide four specialties – rods, performances and visual arts, humanities and the 21st century skills.
