Sports star throws light on the need for better training, infrared

Ludhiana: If we want our sportsmen to reach the Olympics and Paralympics in their teenagers, such as in Australia and the US, we must begin to take care of them at an early age with the best infrastructure.
This was stated by the Olympic Discus Thrower Kamalpreet Kaur, Paralimpies Archer Harvinder Singh and Nishad Kumar athletes.
Trio visited the city on Sunday to be part of a marathon organized by a hospital at the Nanak teacher stadium.
During their visit, Kamalpreet, Harvinder and Nishad talked to TOI about the need to increase sports infrastructure to produce more Olympic medalists.
They also suggested regular telecast all sports events, as did for cricket, to create interest among young people.
Kamalpreet said, “The professional guide provided at an early age can play an important role in forming a career of a sportsman.
India’s performance has been commendable at the Tokyo Olympics, but we should not be satisfied with it and do more effort to increase medal calculations.” This event was held At the Nanak teacher stadium where the synthetic path is outdated.
When Tii asked Kamalpreet about it, he said, “Yes, I have noticed his condition.
This can cause injury to the players.
However, Ludhiana has at least a stadium and several facilities to offer players, who are missing elsewhere.
However, if We want more Olympic medals, the government and exercise authorities must pay attention to the land surface facilities.
“The Archer Harvinder Singh from Haryana, who won a bronze medal at Tokyo Paralympics, was the son of a farmer.
He turned his father’s field to his training ground during locking.
Harvinder said, “abroad, the authorities have provided the best facilities to its athletes and other players.
From the practice area to transportation, everything is made according to the needs of special players.
India has no effort in this field.
However, Gradually everything improves here.
“In addition to sports facilities for athletes, we need to create awareness among them.
People with disabilities lack guidelines and motivation to pursue sports.
They also need monetary assistance to practice.
If I talk about archery , the equipment is too expensive and not everyone can afford it.
We have met many sports officials and ministers and advised them to make efforts in this direction.
After India’s best performance in Paralympics, I hope we will see more athletes and players next time, “Harvinder added.
Simar, the athletes Nishad Kumar from Una in Himachal, who won the silver medal in a high leap, said since the school days he exercised, but heard about Paralympics only after the Rio Olympics.
Nishad said because of the lack of sports facilities in Una, he went to Panchkula where his coach Naseem Ahmed watched his talent and began to train him.
Since Nishad comes from a family with a little meaningful, his coach takes care of his expenses.
Nishad said, “I exercise since my school, but not aware that there are special categories for disabled people.
There must be many talented young people who don’t realize the game of the people.
I suggest telecast from all sports events as it is done in the case of cricket, so that Young kids can find what they can train.
