Gurgaon: In what’s going to spell a significant aid for taxpayers and everyday commuters, the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has started a project for the treatment of two important streets in town — a stretch to Southern Peripheral Road (SPR) and also the one linking the Sirhaul toll together with the Kapashera boundary near Delhi.
The jurisdiction has invited bids from private agencies for your undertaking.
According to officials, both the SPR along with the Sirhaul stretches are 5km and 3km, respectively, along with the undertaking will be worth Rs 7.5 crore.
Though the SPR extend from Sohna street towards Rambir Ki Dhani can be utilized by inhabitants in sectors 75,76,77 and 78, another street is used by commuters coming from Delhi towards Udyog Vihar and vice-versa.
“We’ll be meeting with the craters along with the potholes and performing patchwork on SPR,” stated that a GMDA official.
“The peripheral street is notorious for continuing harm resulting from inconvenience to the commuters.
Considering all the blessings in place, work will start when a service is finalised.” TOI had previously noted the GMDA has begun work for the treatment of numerous streets in town, encouraging agencies to bidding on the job.
The selected service will have to check over the upkeep of these stretches within an interval of 6-12 weeks.
GMDA officials stated that they appoint bureaus for annual upkeep of the streets in town.
Along with the undertaking will need the chosen agency to check within the job during an extended time period.
The streets within the job are dividing streets for business 45/46, 29/30.
45/52, 51/52 along with 42/5, outer street in Sector 26 along with the street near Sector 72A.
The complete price of this project is about Rs 4.5 crore.
