Moscow: Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) announced Tuesday that the efficacy of the Vaksin Covid-19 Sputnik V in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was confirmed at 97.8% among more than 81,000 people.
In a statement, RDIF said that the UAE Ministry of Health confirmed high safety and efficacy during the vaccination campaign.
“The efficacy of more than 81,000 subjects that have received both components of Sputnik V are 97.8%.
Analysis is based on data collected on June 8, 2021,” RDIF said.
In addition, Russian Covid vaccines are fully effective against severe infections and no side effects related to vaccination.
Sputnik V is registered in the UAE in January 2021 under the authorization procedure for emergency use.
