Prayagraj: Volunteers from Vishwa Hindu Parishad (Squad Mobile VHP Gauraksha) on Monday created Ruckus in Gaushala in Shankargarh in the Trans-Yamuna area after finding 12 dead cows.
Regional Secretary of the VHP (Gauraksha) Lal Mani Tiwari told toi that the Gauraksha VHP unit’s cellular force on Monday ‘raided’ Kanha Gaushala in Shankargarh and found a series of irregularities in Gaushala.
He added that there was no setting of fodder and drinking water right and that many cattle struggled to survive due to negligence.
Tiwari further added that the body of 12 cows was thrown in an open hole by the Gaushala authority.
He also claimed that many cows in Gaushala had died of hunger before.
Gaushala is home to around 1,500 cows and calves.
Tiwari said that people who included Gaushala fees almost did not visit a place that produced a series of irregularities in Gaushala.
Tiwari, meanwhile, said that the authorities were not sensitive to this problem and that the PMC senior authority also worked as a “silent audience”.
The VHP leaders said that there was no maintenance of records in Gaushala and threatened to launch massive agitation if things did not improve in the specified time.
