Nagpur: Two unknown gang men – raped a 63-year-old woman in the early Wadi area on Tuesday morning.
The incident was reported by the woman on Wednesday at the Wadi Police Station.
The police said the woman remained alone in a house in the Wadi area.
Around 3am on Tuesday, two young men knocked on the door.
The woman opened the door and the duo asked her to drink water.
As soon as the woman moved towards the kitchen, they also entered the house.
Before he could understand anything, they locked the door inside.
Then, they threatened him with a knife and suspected sexually attacked him repeatedly one by one, before leaving the place.
However, because of fear, the victim was not approaching the police immediately.
On Tuesday morning, he reported the incident to his neighbors.
The news spreads like a fire throughout Wadi.
The police also received information about this and immediately the police team reached the victim and took his statement.
Then, the police also sent victims to government medical colleges and hospitals for medical examinations.
On Wednesday, Wadi police registered a case and had launched a hunt for the perpetrators.
