Colombo: Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) on Monday suspended three players, including the Kusal Disal and Wicketkeeper Niroshan Dickwella, for violating bio-bubble during their sustainable tour and ordered back to the country.
Both, along with the opening Danushka Gunathilaka, looked roaming the streets of Durham after the last international T20 on Sunday night, which was lost by Sri Lanka.
The three players are part of playing XI in the game.
“The Executive Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket has suspended a crush, Danushka Gunathilaka & Niroshan Dickella for violating bio-bubbles and they will soon be called back to Sri Lanka,” Secretary SLC Mohan de Silva said in a statement.

This is the loss of the fifth series of consecutive islands in T20 Internationals since October 2020.
