Sri Lanka Don Close Aide Nabbed in Bengaluru

When the police showed a photo of Thanayaka, a man who worked as a housemaid named Nagaraj identified him and helped the police find a fugitive.
Furthermore, the police team traced Thanayaka to an apartment and arrested him.
The apartment belonged to the Gopalakrishnan sister, Srivilluputhur’s native.
He was also arrested for maintaining Thanayaka.
Incidentally, Jayapal was arrested by the Kancheepuram branch police about six months ago to provide a shelter for drug smugglers Sri Lanka Suresh.
He came out of prison in two months.
Thanayaka was also arrested by the police in 2017 but managed to hide since then.
Police sources said that the petition was submitted before the CJM court on Monday to take seven-day police detainees from the duo for further interrogation.
