Sri Lanka Skipper Dasun Shanaka said the bird arc about tactics

Colombo: Sri Lanka Skipper Dasun Shanaka said Thursday that spit on the field with coach Mickey Arthur in the international one day against India is about tactics.
Speaking for the first time about the exchange of animated words caught on the camera immediately after losing the three-match series to India on Tuesday, Shanaka said Arthur should not do it publicly.
“This is something that should happen in the dressing room,” Shanaka told reporters in Colombo.
“He (Arthur) wants to know if I deviate from the plan agreed upon and I say no.” He said the coach questioned whether he had changed the tactics they agreed before the match.
“There are no heated exchanges,” Shanaka said.
“I explained what happened.
I said I didn’t change the plan and there was no deviation.” India passed 275-9 Sri Lanka with five spare balls in Colombo on Tuesday to record the victory that gave them a 2-0 advantage in the three-match series.
South African coach Sri Lanka was seen sharing words heated with Shanaka and pointed to the captain on the field after their match lost three numbers.
He seemed to show that Shanaka had to go with him from the field but the captain was wrong when Arthur left, in video that was widely distributed on social media.
Arthur called it a “good debate” when social media posts criticized his actions.
“It’s actually a very good debate, no need to make naughty from him,” Arthur said on Twitter responded to the commentator who fits Russel Arnold’s comments that the exchange must be held in the dressing room.
Sri Lanka entered the series with injury and without batting batting Grant Flower, who tested the positive Covid-19 on his wam with a team of England tour where they lost the ODI and Twenty20 series.
From 193-7, Deepak Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar wore an unbeaten holder from 84 to the eighth goal to secure India’s victory.
Shanaka said Sri Lanka hoped to improve their performance for the third and last ODI on Friday.
