COLOMBO: The Sri Lankan government has suspended all of inbound global passenger flights to 10 times from Friday as part of its attempts to curtail the spread of this pandemic at the island country, which reported that the maximum spike in diseases and deaths within Wednesday. Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL) said on Wednesday that the flight suspension will soon be in force from midnight May 21 to midnight May 31. Even the CAASL said passengers that need to depart the nation would be permitted to do this in this period of time, by means of other global transit flights (using a block of over 12 hours) and flights arising from the nation. As of Wednesday, the complete quantity of coronavirus-related deaths happened in 1,051 from the island country. The complete amount of cases stood in 151,343. Deputy Director of Health Services Dr Hemantha Herath said that the new versions of this virus were an effect of concern. “We dread that the new infections could gain within the upcoming few weeks.
