Srihari Nataraj Registered the Best Indian Performance in the World Championship

Abu Dhabi: Ace Indian Srihari Swimmer Nataraj set ‘best Indian time’ in the World Championship in the Fina short course but it was not enough to bring it to the semifinals from the back event of 50m on Saturday.
The 20-year-old recorded 24.40s in the Putra 50M backstroke event to complete the 26th in the heat as a whole.
However, Nataraj, who competed in Tokyo’s match after becoming the second Indian swimmer after Prakash’s Sajan to violate the timing of ‘A’ for the Olympics, could not advance to the semifinals where the top 16 swimmers compete.
This is ‘the best Indian time’ second Nataraj at the meeting, Bengaluru swimmer has improved its own record at the 100m backstroke on the opening day.
Time settings and records in this meeting, which are contested in the 25m swimming pool, are different from more traditional ones.
The short course meeting was contested in a 25 meter pool, while the 50-meter pool was called a long course.
In swimming, the time is considered a national record when it has been achieved at the national waters championship.
Therefore, timing clock in another Meets is called ‘the best Indian time’.
